If your card is lost, stolen or damaged by you or a member of your household, we’ll replace it with a new one free of charge. Don’t worry, only your name and membership number are associated with your membership card. There is no personal or financial information linked to it.
Add a member of your household
You can add a second member of your household to your AARP membership, free of charge, at any time. The person will receive their own membership card, which we’ll send automatically after you add them to your account.
To add a second member:
- Sign in to your AARP account online. If you don’t have an account, it’s easy and free to create one.
- Go to My Account and click on the Account Details tab.
- Scroll down to Personal Information, find Spouse/Partner, and click the Edit button
- Fill in the information for the secondary member and click Save.
- To edit this information, your spouse or partner must register and sign in with their AARP account online.
